We are happy to welcome MST-CAN Switzerland -our first non-English speaking European team! The launch of the Swiss programme will take place on November 5, 2010. We will begin seeing families in January 2011. The team will be housed and managed at Psychiatrische Dienste Thurgau in Weinfelden under the leadership of Dr. Bruno Rhiner. The programme will involve families in the Thurgau region.

The mission of Global Family Solutions is to support the dissemination of Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) and other evidence-based ecological treatments for family and community violence.


About our Adinkra Symbol

Mpatapo is the Global Family Solutions West African Adinkra symbol. It is the knot of pacification/reconciliation and represents the bond or knot that binds parties in a dispute to a peaceful, harmonious reconciliation. Such conclusions are what we aim to help families find.


Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN)

Multisystemic Therapy for Child Abuse and Neglect (MST-CAN) is an adaptation of Multisystemic Therapy (MST) that has been specifically designed to treat youth ages 6 to 17 and their families who have come to the attention of child protection due to physical abuse and/or neglect.
